Local model decoding covers selected VW Group families. Other makes get manufacturer recognition; exact model and mechanical details depend on matching vehicle records. Czech and Danish VIN searches are connected; Dutch records require a plate. A foreign car can appear if it has a Czech record. Older non-standard chassis numbers are outside scope.

The Ministry of Transport’s documented public API supplies recorded technical details and Czech registration information. Missing values stay missing. A failed search says nothing about registration elsewhere.

VIN reference decoding happens locally. The main lookup sends your VIN over HTTPS through this app to the Czech Ministry. Optional Danish checks send it to Know Auto; optional Dutch checks send only the plate to RDW. Original Danish inspection PDFs open directly at eSyn when selected. This app stores no VIN history, API keys entered in the form, or vehicle responses. No analytics or advertising scripts. Mileage text and checklist notes stay in this tab until you clear them or leave; downloaded/printed reports contain the details you choose to keep. Cloudflare and each data provider process requests under their own policies. External check links do not contain your VIN. Downloaded reports remain on your device.
